CONTENT STRATEGY REPORT: CONFEDERATED SALISH & KOOTENAI TRIBES OF THE FLATHEAD RESERVATION
Content Strategy Report
This content strategy is a response supplement to the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribe website request for proposal (RFP). This approach is a representative sample analysis for guiding, planning, developing, and managing existing and future content. The objective is to align the CSKT’s mission and services into a cohesive message navigable across all platforms.
The Process
The process involved evaluating the current public facing websites and social media managed by the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribe. This included identifying existing content, challenges, and opportunities for both the website and social media accounts, a SEO Analysis, and a competitive analysis. Recommendations included content prioritization, organization, a sitemap, and presentation with wireframes. Adhering writing style guidelines is essential to produce clear, consistent, relevant copy that adheres to web writing best practices for effective communication. Due to the complexity and size of the tribal nation, the report includes key performance indicators, roles and responsibilities, voice and tone, web writing best practices, and content examples.
